Meet the Teacher Night

Meet the Teacher night is always one of my FAVORITE days of the year. I love seeing the looks of my kiddos' faces go from nervous to relieved or from scared to excited. I love watching them explore the classroom and get excited when they discover they may share a class with a friend. All of the hard work and prep is always worth it!

How do you guys do Meet the Teacher night? What do you try to accomplish that night? At my school, we call our students a week before school starts to invite them to Meet the Teacher happening that same week. So, our MTT is actually before school starts. I love meeting families before school begins, and I really think it helps break the ice.

I've used the same forms and processes every year, each year adding or taking away some piece of the process. I think I finally have come up with a comprehensive list of everything I use on MTT to welcome families, get the information I need, give the information I need, and get to know my kiddos a little bit better as learners and as people.

Because I've reached the point of EMBRACING my #colorfulclassroom, I decided to colorfully coordinate all of my paperwork and forms that I use and put it all in one bundle in my TPT store!

I am lucky enough to have the insta-ink, so I'm definitely printing in color this year! But, if you want to use colored copy paper, I also have a black and white version in the same bundle.
